The Simple Woman's DayBook

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...It's raining.
Dreary.
At least it's not freezing!

I am thinking...My kids are moving like molasses!

I am thankful... For my AMAZING husband!

From the learning rooms...Weaver Vol. 5, Ch. 9
Apparently we need to spend some time reviewing US geography...
lots of map and weather work lately.

In the kitchen...Coffee is still on.
Beans are going for dinner.
Breakfast dishes are done.

I am wearing...White fleece with snowflakes embroidered on it, Black skinny jeans, my slippers.

I am creating...Emmets coat.
I'm half done but need to measure him again so I can finish.

I am going...To clean out some of these tabs....
currently I have 11 open tabs....
And then I wonder why my computer is extra slow or crashes....
I drive my dad and Good Ole Boy crazy!

I am wondering...What kind of chickens to get?

I am reading...The Centurion's Wife
Farmer Boy
The Wedding Dress
Various Christmas tales..

I am hoping...God provides Good Ole Boy with a better job.

I am looking forward to...Christmas.

I am hearing...The radio in the kitchen.

Around the house...Laundry is going.
School stuff is scattered all around the living room.

I am pondering...How to get everything done that I need/want to each day?

One of my favorite things...Snuggling with a baby.

A few plans for the rest of the week: School, Scouts, Work, Shopping, Church.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

  1. Your tree is precious! I'd like to be able to schedule everything and have everything go according to my plan, but at the same time I'm thankful God is in control and not me! My plans don't always turn out the way I'd like, but His do.

Have a blessed rest of your week.

  2. Thank you Arlene!
I know God is in control, but sometimes I just feel so unproductive, or absentminded and feel like I'm never accomplishing what I need and desire to do! It's like after living with all these ADHD people, it's rubbed off! :)lol.
I'm so blessed by your visit.
    Have a Blessed Holiday.
